About this account

Asterix & Obelix: Heroes immerses players in the vibrant world of the indomitable Gauls resisting Roman occupation. Set in the year 50 BC, the game provides a unique twist by combining the beloved Asterix comic series with the strategic thrill of deck-building gameplay. Players construct a powerful deck of 30 cards from a pool of 150 options, each card offering diverse strategic possibilities. From unleashing the formidable force of a menhir to healing heroes with Getafix's potions, the deck becomes a dynamic tool for players to adapt, strategize, and create unexpected, devastating combos. The game encourages players to navigate each round with foresight, making strategic decisions that can turn the tide of battle. Asterix and Obelix lead a cast of over 20 iconic characters from the comic series, including Cacofonix the bard, the loyal Dogmatix, Unhygienix the fishmonger, and even Queen Cleopatra. Each character brings unique characteristics and an ultimate skill to the table, offering diverse tactical options. For instance, Asterix's "Born Rebel" skill is most effective against Romans, disrupting their attacks, while Dogmatix's "Mark Territory" stuns opponents and animals, adding a layer of strategy to hero selection. Embark on an adventure across various regions, unlocking up to 24 heroes as you progress through the game. The objective is to thwart Caesar's plans to conquer all of Gaul by finding the elusive Treasure of Toutatis before he does. The journey is fraught with danger, offering players the freedom to choose their routes, engage in combat, discover treasures, and navigate obstacles. The narrative unfolds across six familiar regions, pitting players against Roman legions, pirates, Egyptians, Vikings, and wild animals. The game's dynamic blend of strategy, iconic characters, and the rich Asterix universe promises an engaging experience for both deck-building enthusiasts and fans of the legendary comic series. As players face the challenges that threaten the Gaulish village, they must use their cards wisely to outsmart the Romans and secure the Treasure of Toutatis. The fate of Gaul rests in the hands of Asterix, Obelix, and their band of heroes.
