About this game

Build a town from the ground up

In Banished, guide a group of exiled travelers as they begin again in a new land with only their clothes and a supply cart. Keep the townspeople healthy, happy, and fed while growing the settlement; homes need enough residents to fill them and build families.

Manage people and scarce resources

Residents are your primary resource: they age, work, have children, and eventually die. Choose among 20 occupations, including farming, hunting, blacksmithing, mining, teaching, and healing. There are no skill trees, and structures can be built whenever you have the resources. Each map can make some resources scarcer, so weigh expansion against space for forests, mines, and quarries.

Trade and offer details

Barter resources with visiting trade vessels for livestock and annual crops, while accounting for the risk of illnesses arriving along their trade route. This offer is Banished for Steam, delivered as a digital gift, and carries the Region Free label.
