About this game

A double life in New York

In BLACKWOOD, you manage a DVD shop in 2012 New York by day and enter the city’s underworld as a contract killer by night. Anton’s story spans three acts; Acts 2 and 3 are planned as free updates for existing owners. The story follows a cast of flawed characters through missions, secrets and consequences.

Third-person action and takedowns

Fight with responsive gunplay and grounded melee combat. Dives, rolls and slides keep you moving, while contextual takedowns let you use hand-to-hand moves or the surrounding environment against your enemies.

Run the DVD shop

Restock shelves, organize inventory, set prices and work the counter—or let the shop run on autopilot. You can also buy and sell DVDs, change outfits, decorate your living space and interact with your apartment. This offer is a digital gift for Steam and carries the Region Free label. Agreement to a third-party end-user licence agreement is required.
