State of Mind: the GOG giveaway ended in September 2026

The giveaway reported as ending on 10 September 2026 was for State of Mind on GOG. Our earlier article wrongly identified the game as Disco Elysium and described a Steam claim process. Both details were incorrect. The reported deadline has passed, so this page should not be read as a live free-game offer.

Use the State of Mind listing on GOG

The linked GOG page identifies the correct science-fiction adventure. Check its current description, supported languages, system requirements and purchase options if you are considering it today. Do not search for a Steam redemption code based on this old report: the offer concerned the GOG version. The name of the store matters as much as the name of the game when recovering a past claim.

Check an earlier claim before buying again

Sign in to the GOG account used during the giveaway and inspect your library or order history. If the game is present, use the download options supplied for that account. If it is missing despite a confirmation, contact the platform’s support with the relevant receipt. For anyone who did not claim it during the offer, today’s listing controls the price and availability. This correction identifies the original promotion accurately without promising a new free copy or transferring ownership to another storefront.
