The game is Professor Layton and the New World of Steam. LEVEL5’s official page lists PlayStation 5, Steam, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with release scheduled for 10 December 2026.
A new Layton adventure
This is a new entry from LEVEL5, not an unidentified Nintendo first-party game being ported to rival systems. The official story takes Layton and Luke to Steam Bison, one year after the events of Unwound Future. Its focus remains a puzzle-filled adventure.

Check the listing for your platform before buying, including supported languages and any edition-specific contents. A multi-platform announcement does not by itself promise cross-save, identical performance or every language on every version. The date above is the publisher’s schedule checked on 21 October, rather than proof that the game has already launched.
