Ace Combat 8: use the official date, not the old ratings rumour

Bandai Namco's ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE page lists October 2, 2026, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC as platforms. This supersedes the earlier story on this page about a possible May 30 release inferred from a ratings listing. A ratings entry alone should not have been treated as a reliable launch calendar.

What the publisher actually describes

PROJECT ACES presents an arcade air-combat game. The official story takes place in July 2029, a fictional setting date rather than a release date. Keep those dates separate when reading an abbreviated search result or repost. If you are deciding whether the game interests you, look at the publisher's gameplay footage and controls instead of using the old rumour as purchase advice.

Compare the exact platform and edition

Check that a listing names the hardware you own and spells out the included content. A deluxe package, season pass or voucher should be assessed from its own terms, not inferred from the base-game title. For PC, read the current system requirements before buying. The existence of a console version does not establish how well the PC version will run on a particular computer, and this article does not substitute for a performance test.
