Cyberpunk’s The Heist announcement concerns a trading card

The Heist announcement discussed here is about a card in Cyberpunk Trading Card Game, produced by WeirdCo. The official card database lists The Heist as a Program card. Our earlier article left the impression of a new Cyberpunk 2077 project or playable expansion; that was an incorrect reading of the announcement.

Read the card’s current rules in the TCG database

The official entry identifies the card, its printings and current rules text. That is the useful reference when checking how it works in a deck. A card name can also refer to a familiar event from the video game without announcing any change to that game. Do not interpret the card artwork or a trading-card release date as a new downloadable mission.
