Dishonored’s announced return is an Archon Studio board game

The Dishonored announcement behind this article concerns Dishonored: The Board Game from Archon Studio. In its 17 June 2026 announcement, the studio described a cooperative tabletop project for one to four players. Our earlier headline and discussion blurred that product with a new video-game release.

A cooperative return to Dunwall

Archon describes a game in which the group’s decisions affect the Chaos system. This is the tabletop project to follow if you want another way to explore Dishonored’s setting with other players. The announcement is not a specification for Dishonored 3, a console remaster or a new PC campaign. It should not be used to infer platforms or a video-game launch window.

Check the campaign stage before committing

Go from Archon’s announcement to the official Gamefound project and read its latest updates. A campaign launch, an estimated manufacturing date and delivery to backers are separate milestones. Before pledging, check the selected box’s components, language, player requirements and shipping terms. A preview of a game in development also differs from a review of the finished product. If you want a video game to play now, use its own store listing; buying or following this tabletop campaign does not grant a digital Dishonored release.
