The April 10, 2026 Fallout story concerned merchandise, including Merchoid’s Dogmeat fleece blanket. Our earlier article treated it as an official game update and a clue about Fallout 5. The source did not support that interpretation.
Match the item to the announcement
Merchoid identifies the Dogmeat item as a fleece blanket. The same report discussed other physical Fallout collectibles, so “new release” did not mean a new playable game. The earlier claims about a Steam update and development milestones are withdrawn.
Check current delivery details
If you want the blanket, compare its stated dimensions, material and care information with your needs. Check the current order status and delivery costs for your country rather than relying on the old April estimate. If you want game news, look for a separate Bethesda announcement that names the software, platforms and actual update or release.
