The June 28, 2026 PlayStation Blog announcement from producer Takeshi Yamanaka introduced the Samurai Outriders team for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Blade, Loki and Deadpool join Ghost Rider. That is a roster announcement with named characters, not evidence of a competitive tier list or a recommendation based on our own play session.
Use the reveal to decide what to investigate
If one of these characters is your reason for following the game, watch the official footage and look at how the move demonstrations are presented. A striking animation does not establish how easy a fighter is to learn or how strong it will be in a particular matchup. Compare the controls and mechanics explained by the developer before choosing a character purely from a short highlight.
Keep the launch offer separate from the trailer
Check the current official edition description for character access and other included content. Do not infer an entitlement simply because a fighter appears in a promotional video. If you plan to play with a friend, verify the relevant platform and mode information on the current game page. Balance advice should identify the version it tested; this announcement guide does not invent matchups, frame data or results.
