The large Skyrim project in the May report was Heart of the Mountain, a Creation by DarthVitrial. Describing it simply as Skyrim’s surprise new paid DLC obscured who made it. Bethesda’s listing credits the creator and dates its original creation to November 2025.
A community project with its own requirements
The listing describes a new region and voiced story content. Read its current platform availability, dependencies and installation notes instead of assuming every Skyrim edition supports it. A project being distributed through Bethesda Creations is different from Bethesda developing a new official expansion.
Protect your save before changing a mod setup
Keep a separate backup before installing or updating a large Creation. Read the creator’s compatibility notes and avoid changing several overlapping mods at once. Check the current credit cost in the official interface if you intend to buy it; an approximate dollar price from an old report is not a universal price or a guarantee of compatibility.
