What Lucasfilm announced
The official 2021 trailer page identifies a Knights of the Old Republic remake for PlayStation 5 and PC. That announcement is evidence of the project, not evidence that it launched in May 2026. The exact item described by the archived May notice has not been independently identified.
Check the edition, not just the franchise name
Before buying, confirm whether a listing is the original game, a bundle containing it, or the remake. A news-feed entry on Steam is not itself a store release. We have removed unsupported engine and launch claims. The cover illustrates the announced remake; it does not show a newly released build.
