Tomb Raider: Side-Scroller Edition reimagines the classic trilogy as a side-scrolling adventure. Creators Delca and Trxye announced it as a free fan project for Windows, with a download linked from their project page.
A fan game with its own limits
The creators’ announcement does not make this a new official Crystal Dynamics release or a Steam giveaway. In the launch discussion, Delca said native gamepad support was absent. Keyboard remapping through another tool was a possible workaround, not a tested guarantee for every controller.
Where to find reliable details
Use the creator’s project page for files, instructions and later changes rather than a similarly titled download elsewhere. We have not downloaded or run the game. The cover now uses the creator’s trailer artwork for Side-Scroller Edition, replacing imagery from another Tomb Raider release.
