About this game

A retro horror platformer

DERE EVIL EXE is a 2D side-scrolling horror platformer inspired by 16-bit arcade games. Guide Knightly through a pixel-art world: jump, run and manipulate environments to overcome puzzles, obstacles and dangerous creatures called corruptions.

Story and soundtrack

The thriller’s meta-horror story follows Knightly through surreal structures and blocky hills, where corruptions take the form of their creator’s greatest fears. The soundtrack shifts between chiptune music and PSX-era orchestral music depending on the situation.

Offer and controls

This offer is a PC Steam activation key and carries the Region Free label. DERE EXE and PROTO DERE .NES are also available as two full games through free DLC. The game is single-player and does not support controllers; use the space bar and left and right arrow keys to move.
