About this game

Train fighters for the championship

Elysium: Blood Games puts you in the role of an Arenamaster, managing a ludus of 3 fighters from an ancient city’s ruins. Guide their training and prepare them to compete for the championship banner. Each warrior has 5 stats, a profile picture and a special trait that can affect gameplay.

Manage a changing career

Develop your fighters with a training engine that lets you choose what they work on. Their careers can involve injuries, aging, retirement and varied development paths. Sign evolving contracts, draft new fighters between seasons, and compete against 9 other warriors. You can also gamble on matches, bribe opponents, advertise bouts, pursue secret objectives and upgrade to larger venues. More than 40 favors can be purchased with Influence earned from matches.

Direct matches and build a record

Choose each fighter’s moves during combat—Lunge, Normal, Defensive or aim for a vein to cause bleeding—or set an attitude and watch the fight play out. Twelve special match types add variations, including Flaming Swords, Lions and Sudden Death. Seasons end with contract negotiations, a draft and single-elimination playoffs. Fighters and championship results are tracked over time, while warriors, brews and schedules are randomly generated for each new game. This offer is a Steam activation key and carries the Region Free label.
