Build a town on the frontier

In Farthest Frontier, protect and guide a small band of settlers as they build a town in untamed wilderness. Gather 14 types of raw materials, hunt, fish and farm to sustain the settlement. Grow 17 types of food, including 10 crops, and produce 32 crafted items and materials for villagers to trade, consume, equip and use in combat.

Develop and manage your settlement

Construct 50 types of buildings and advance the town center, housing and production buildings through multiple tiers. Choose crop rotations and tend fields to manage soil fertility, weeds, rocks, heat, frost and crop diseases. Villagers work and move goods in real time; develop roads, transport wagons and storage to help goods travel through town and prevent spoilage. Randomly generated maps vary in terrain and resources, and map controls let you set the amount of water or mountains.

Set the challenge and play style

Manage food, clean water, clothing, medicine and disease risks, and shape the local economy around available resources and trade. Choose pacifist mode to avoid combat, or defend the town from raiders and foreign armies with walls, towers, barracks and equipped soldiers. Customizable difficulty settings let you turn off features such as invaders and disease or raise the challenge. This offer is a digital gift for Steam and carries the Region Free label.
