Build a civilization among the stars

In Dread Lords, guide a space-faring civilization as its leader, balancing economic, technological, diplomatic, cultural and military power while expanding through a hostile galaxy. Play a multi-mission campaign about the ancient Dread Lords or explore randomly generated galactic maps. The game is single-player.

Expansions and ways to play

Dark Avatar adds opponents, units and a campaign, along with mineable asteroid belts, planets that require special colonization technologies, spies, new diplomatic treaties and an enhanced AI. Twilight of the Arnor adds civilization-specific technology trees, Terror Stars, map and campaign editing tools, ships and planetary improvements. Across the game, pursue military conquest, cultural domination, political alliance, technological supremacy or ascension; create ships piece by piece and customize civilizations, opponents, graphics and scenarios.
