The single-player story follows a street hustler, a retired bank robber and a violent psychopath whose encounters with criminal networks, government figures and the entertainment industry draw them into dangerous heists.

Online businesses, races and cooperative heists

GTA Online supports up to 30 players and offers cooperative heists, Stunt Races and competitive Adversary Modes. Career Builder lets you choose a business path—Biker, Executive, Nightclub Owner or Gunrunner—and select properties, vehicles and weapons for that enterprise. Hao’s Special Works adds vehicle upgrades and modifications that you can take into HSW races and time trials.
