I Shall Remain is an action RPG set in an alternate history at the end of the Second World War. A deadly virus has spread across US territory, and the story follows two brothers amid the resulting apocalypse. Discover the truth about the infection and the future of humanity as you explore a story shaped by dialogue and choices. A dynamic day-and-night cycle and changing weather affect play.

Combat and character growth

Fight infected with more than 30 weapons, from melee weapons and pistols to rifles, heavy machine guns, flamethrowers and bazookas. Throw grenades, lay mines, and use vehicles such as tanks when available. Actions including fighting, repairing weapons and running grant experience. Develop attributes and skills through doctrines, which can be upgraded to improve their effects or add abilities.

Survival and companions

Scavenge locations for resources, manage fatigue, and reduce the effects of infection with serum, also used as currency with traders. Repair worn weapons yourself, with a teammate, or through an NPC. You can recruit up to 7 special teammates, equip and develop them, and choose their path. Walking and using melee weapons can help you avoid alerting infected.
