MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls is a 4v4 tag-team fighting game where team composition shapes the combinations, synergies and strategies you can explore. Its launch roster contains 20 Marvel characters, presented in an anime-inspired style. Battles take place in Marvel Universe locations, with interactive transitions in some stages. Adjustable controls offer traditional or quick inputs alongside easy chain combos.

You can face a friend locally or enter an online lobby supporting up to 64 players, with standard VS modes available. That figure describes the lobby, not a single fight. The single-player Episode Mode focuses on each team's dynamics and lore. Online play requires an internet connection and an account for PlayStation.
