About this game

Offer details

Overcrowd: A Commute 'Em Up is offered as a digital gift for Steam, with the Region Free label.

Design and run a metro station

In Overcrowd: A Commute 'Em Up, excavate and build a station across 4 levels, planning its layout and directing commuter routes. Manage crowd flow, power, heat, refuse, supplies and shop prices while hiring staff, setting their priorities and scheduling breaks. Unlock equipment and respond to hazards such as delays, heat, dirt and rats, which affect commuters’ state of mind and your station’s reputation. Station-wide events also occur.

Build a network or shape your own challenge

Progress through a procedural campaign, building a network of stations, hiring staff and procuring technology as you go. Return to earlier stations with more resources and aim for a 5-star rating. Sandbox mode lets you set parameters such as money, staff, map size and win or lose conditions; the daily challenge offers a station on a randomly generated map. The game is single-player.
