About this game

Two Rain-Slick adventures

Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 and 4 Bundle includes both games. In the third adventure, the Startling Developments Detective Agency answers a mysterious call and faces a string of strange thefts, evil doctors, supernatural forces, and time-travelling dinosaurs. The fourth concludes Tycho Brahe and Jonathan Gabriel’s saga in the Underhell, a gruesome realm beyond a destroyed world.

Build a fighting force

In the fourth game, recruit bizarre monsters and pair them with suitable trainers. Its old-school RPG combat has no random battles: use a multi-class job system to gain powers such as the Tube Samurai, Hobo, Apocalypt, Dinosorcerer, and Delusionist, and interrupt enemy attacks with special abilities. MP and items recharge, so you can use them throughout battles. The quest is estimated at 8–12 hours, and the haiku-based Help-Yu system offers guidance. No experience with Rain-Slick 1 or 2 is necessary.
