About this game

A kingdom between rival powers

Plebby Quest: The Crusades is a turn-based strategy game set in Europe and the Middle East during the Crusades. Survive among ambitious rulers, treacherous neighbours and religious demands as you build a kingdom legacy meant to last for centuries.

Two connected ways to play

Follow a character’s story in Scenario mode, or conquer the world without restriction in Sandbox mode. The modes affect one another: choices made in earlier games can shape the chances of success in future plays. Neighbouring kingdoms remember your actions and may respond with dissent or war; responding to characters according to their personalities can help them open up.

Faith, diplomacy and war

Each kingdom is influenced by a religion that demands proof of faith. Every June, believers gather to condemn other faiths, while religious leaders may stop a war or call for a crusade. Use bribes, threats and other schemes to influence the meeting. When war begins, face a stark choice: burn your enemies, or be burned.
