Combat and forces

Set during the Vietnam War, this first-person action game pits US forces against Vietnamese forces in battles for up to 64 players. Play as the US Army or Marines, or as North Vietnamese Army (NVA) and Viet Cong forces, each with distinct abilities and tactical advantages. US forces can pilot the UH-1H Huey transport, OH-6 Loach reconnaissance, and AH-1G Cobra attack helicopters. The arsenal includes more than 30 period weapons, with adjustable stocks, attachable bayonets, and a recoil system.

Modes, maps and squads

Modes include territory control, Supremacy—with large-scale combat, helicopters and VC tunnels—and Skirmish, designed for maps with 16 players or fewer. Maps depict jungles, cities, hills, firebases, rice fields and plantations, with opportunities for ambushes and flanking attacks. Set up squads, invite friends, choose a squad tag color, and use dedicated squad VOIP channels; working together brings bonuses. Customize characters with earned uniform and equipment variants, including headgear, clothing, tattoos and glasses.
