Golf while fighting to reach your ball

In Rogue Links, a top-down action roguelite, every shot sends you into a fight to reach your ball. Monsters attack as you cross the course; reaching the ball raises a temporary shield so you can line up the next strike, though aiming longer reduces accuracy. Swing your clubs through enemies, charge hits to send them flying, and drive the ball through groups before fighting your way to where it lands. Strokes over par raise your Curse Level, bringing faster spawns, tougher mobs and elite enemies; scoring under par lowers it and increases coin rewards. Dusk also darkens the course the longer you spend on a hole.

Six modes and a changing challenge

The 36-hole Campaign spans two acts, The Old Links and the Corrupted Underworld, with a boss every ninth hole. Completing it unlocks Tour Cards that raise the difficulty; there are 15 in all. Onslaught links nine procedurally generated holes into a changing course, while the endless Gauntlet generates holes that grow harder and more chaotic as you progress. Daily and Sprint offer 9- or 18-hole courses. In Head-to-Head, you and a friend or random opponent play the same generated course in one of two formats. The Course Designer lets you build custom 18-hole courses tile by tile, test them, and publish them.

Build your run and get the Steam key

At the end of each hole, draft perks, club mods and ball types to shape your run across seven perk synergies: Precision, Power, Brawl, Speed, Storm, Control and Greed. The offer is Rogue Links for PC on Steam, delivered as an activation key, and carries the Region Free label. The game is playable offline; its listed Steam features include achievements, Workshop, Cloud, stats and leaderboards. Supplier information also lists 72 achievements, including hidden unlocks, and unlockable golfers, shot trails, impact animations and flag styles.
