Turn-based combat and exploration

Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by classic role-playing games. Its story follows two Children of the Solstice, whose sun and moon powers combine into Eclipse Magic to oppose the alchemist known as The Fleshmancer. Time your button presses with combat animations to increase damage and reduce incoming damage. Battles also use multi-character combos, boosting, and a strategic locks system for choosing damage types against enemies preparing powerful attacks or spells. There are no random encounters, separate battlefields, or grinding. Swim, climb, vault, jump, and hoist yourself up ledges while exploring a world with platform-style movement and 2D pixel art.

Activities and co-op

Away from combat, you can sail, cook, fish, listen to music in a tavern, or play Wheels, a tabletop game. The adventure supports up to three players, who can join or leave as you explore and use co-op timed hits in combat.
