Infiltrate Freedom Town

In The Church in the Darkness, play as Vic, a former law-enforcement officer who enters Freedom Town to check on their nephew, Alex. Set in the late 1970s, the story follows the commune led by Isaac and Rebecca Walker in the jungles of South America. Use stealth or violence to infiltrate the settlement, investigate what is happening and find Alex.

Choices and changing stories

Explore the camp, interview its residents and search documents and letters for clues. Avoid detection, deal with guards and civilians non-lethally, or use lethal force. The story changes between playthroughs, with shifting personalities and motives among the cult leaders.
