About this game

A puzzle adventure after death

In The Godkiller: Chapter 1, play as Emm, a newly-dead soul who meets God. Their plans conflict with Emm’s independence, and she soon gathers enemies among bureaucrats, inventors, royalty and law enforcers. The story is told through fully voice-acted dialogue.

Throw, stack and use death to solve puzzles

Fling blocks—and Emm—across levels, stack blocks to open routes, and use them to build bridges or open and close doors. The turn-based “stepping” system means other entities move in response to each move. Death is another puzzle tool: kill Emm to respawn her in a more favorable location. The puzzles are fully three-dimensional and reward thinking vertically; hazards and contraptions can be dodged or used to your advantage.

Levels, songs and characters

The game includes 58 puzzle levels, plus bonus challenges and achievements. Its original soundtrack features 12 vocalised songs sung by characters during play, and interactions are fully voice-acted with 48 different characters. The supplier estimates around 30 hours of playtime.
