About this game

Offer and included games

Theatre of War Collection is offered as a Steam activation key and carries the Region Free label. The collection includes 6 items: Theatre of War; Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943; Theatre of War 2: Centauro; Theatre of War 2: Kursk 1943; Theatre of War 2 - Battle for Caen; and Theatre of War 3: Korea.

Historical campaigns

Across its World War II and Korean War settings, the collection covers battles in North Africa, the Battle of Kursk, Operation Epsom and Goodwood, and campaigns in Korea. In Africa 1943, command the Afrika Korps or lead English and American forces. Centauro follows the Italian 131st Armored Division in North Africa, while Battle for Caen follows the British 11th Armored Division during its named operations. Theatre of War 3: Korea features North Korean and American campaigns set in the 1950s.

Tactical and strategic play

Command combined forces that include tanks, armored personnel carriers, field guns, mortars and infantry, with artillery and air support also available. The Korea campaign adds a strategic layer: move forces across the peninsula and manage reserves, fuel and ammunition; tactical engagements are generated from the strategic situation. Other listed features include non-linear dynamic campaigns, a campaign generator with a USSR faction for alternative scenarios, squad-focused controls, and real-time mine-laying and demining.
