About this game

Offer and included routes

Train Sim World 2020 is a Steam activation key for Europe. Activation is restricted in some countries; check whether the key can be activated in your country before purchase. The offer includes the base game and Train Sim World: Great Western Express, Long Island Rail Road: New York - Hicksville Route Add-On, Main Spessart Bahn: Aschaffenburg - Gemünden, and Northern Trans-Pennine: Manchester - Leeds Route Add-On.

Drive the routes

In this first-person railway simulator, operate locomotives from the cab and run passenger and freight services across real-world routes. Manage steep gradients, tight curves, traffic and signals, including departures from London Paddington and commuter railroading in New York City. The included routes also feature Germany’s Main-Spessart Bahn, Britain’s Northern Trans-Pennine, Long Island Rail Road and Great Western Express, alongside the CSX Heavy Haul locations Rockwood Mine, Sand Patch Summit and Cumberland Yard.

Journeys and progression

Journeys combine more than 24 hours of sequential gameplay for each route, with scenarios, service timetables and railway jobs. Tutorials cover locomotive operation, while a progress tracker highlights hundreds of railway jobs. Action Points reward completed objectives and accurate timing, and record your best performance for each route scenario and timetable service. The game features 12 locomotives and a control car, including the Inter-city 125, Metro-North M7 and Deutsche Bahn BR 185.2.
