About this game

Build and command your tribe

TRIBAL “The 12 Gates” is a 2D RTS/RPG in which you lead a medieval tribe as its Chieftain. Choose from 6 Chieftains, each with a unique spawn tree, and direct your tribe’s growth. Spawn raid teams for combat, defense, conquest, siege, destruction or healing; you control the Chieftain, while the game AI manages each team according to its assigned purpose.

Develop, explore and fight

Gather gold and technology resources to research over 40 technologies and upgrades, and direct builders to construct over 100 structures according to the land and climate. Explore new lands and face the 12 Gates’ bosses: defeating them awards a unique spell and opens access to new maps and higher levels. Chieftains can use these spells, while spellcasters can cast over 60 spells in DPS, healing or protection roles. Boss encounters become harder after the 12th Gate, and can be tackled again in Tribal Evolved.

Play alone or with other tribes

Choose single-player, play with friends or larger groups on community custom servers, or join the main TRIBAL multiplayer server, which supports up to 144 other tribes. Raid teams can continue working while you are away; for this to happen, a server must keep running. This offer is an activation key for Steam and carries the Region Free label.
