New challenges for El Presidente

Across the bundle, El Presidente faces changing political and economic pressures, from the Cold War and nuclear conflict to global markets, terrorism and space exploration. The scenarios challenge you to prepare Tropico for an apocalypse, build a militaristic society under rebel pressure, develop a profitable industry while researching buildings, and create a Caribbean metropolis while managing disasters, unemployment, overpopulation and food shortages. Other content puts you in charge of a pirate haven, where ship abductions and plunder can worsen relations with foreign powers, or pits you against protesters and political dissidents through propaganda and crime-control measures.

Buildings, traits and island development

The included content adds buildings and island features such as a nuclear shelter, East Point Academy, a smuggler’s hut, a cement factory, plantations and the Voodoo Manor tourist attraction. New character traits affect military leadership, agriculture, construction, ship traffic, crime safety and other aspects of running the island; outfits and decorations include a Hazmat suit, pirate queen outfit, sombrero, Zorro mask, Witch Doctor costume, trees and flower beds.
