In Wantless: Solace at World’s End, play as Eiris, one of the last Transposers: doctors who enter patients’ troubled minds to ease their suffering or erase memories. Explore their stories across a ghostly metropolis and confront horrors born from their thoughts.

Shape each encounter

Combat unfolds in turn-based runs. You start with 8 action points, but spending one grants an action point to every enemy; defeating foes can give you points back. Use the terrain, including explosives and pools of toxic poison, while protecting key memories and keeping instability in check, since disruption can empower creatures or change the map.

Build skills and choose perks

Collect synapses during runs and use them to craft skills, adjusting their effects, shapes, costs and cooldowns. Combine damage, ailments, buffs, environmental effects and utility for different combos. 100+ synapses and over 170 Mind Tree perks offer ways to shape Eiris’s build, with stronger perk nodes bringing greater drawbacks. Patients and their traits are often randomly generated; some unique patients have their own stories, twists and enemies.
