AION 2 global launch: October 5 and the checks before joining

The global release now has a date

The official AION 2 site and Steam listing show October 5, 2026 for launch. The official site separately advertises founder packs with five-day advanced access. Our previous article said the date was unknown; that part is now outdated. A test session, advanced access and the full launch are three different milestones.

Steam lists AION 2 as free to play with in-app purchases. Do not interpret the existence of paid packs as proof that every player must buy a base-game key. Read what the pack adds and how long each included benefit lasts.

Plan a group before selecting a pack

Agree with your friends on the service, region and server you intend to use. Write those details down before creating characters or purchasing extras. A broad global launch label does not guarantee account eligibility in every country, a specific connection quality from Tunisia or unrestricted transfers between servers.

For example, a player buying early access while the rest of the group waits should check whether the intended server arrangement supports their plan. Do not assume that the cheapest pack or the earliest start automatically places everybody together.

Check the PC and account requirements

1. Open the official listing using the account and store region you will actually use. Confirm access and any account requirements there.
2. Compare the current listed system requirements with your own components. Do not substitute an unrelated MMO’s requirements.
3. Read the pack’s exact contents and redemption restrictions. Separate temporary membership from permanent cosmetic items or game access.
4. Before entering a code, confirm that its service and region match the intended account.
