EA SPORTS FC crossplay: check PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC versions

For EA SPORTS FC multiplayer, compare the yearly game, the version being launched and the intended mode. A console name alone is not enough. This guide addresses EA’s published FC 24, FC 25 and FC 26 guidance; it does not predict compatibility for an unverified future release.

Ask your friend for a precise version

Request the installed game name without private account information, and write down the mode. “FIFA on PlayStation” is not a purchase specification. Check before sending an invitation

1. Match the yearly game first: FC 25 and FC 26 are not the same multiplayer title.
2. Identify the game version actually running rather than just the console hardware.
3. Check EA’s generation groups and exact mode: PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC are grouped together; PS4 and Xbox One form another group.
