Carter’s PC password: the direct answer

Enter 2808 at Carter’s PC in Episode 2 of Directive 8020 on Steam. PC Gamer also reports that 0828 is accepted. Both represent the same birthday, 28 August; these are not two passwords for different purchases.

Where to find the clue

1. Inspect the note on Carter’s monitor referring to Luna.
2. Leave the room and look to the right for the calendar in Crew Quarters.
3. Read the birthday entry for 28 August, then return to the computer.
4. Enter four digits, retaining the zero in the month.

Check the screen before troubleshooting

This answer concerns Carter’s computer, not every locked terminal in the game. Check the character, location and objective before trying a code from another puzzle. If you entered a different number, clear the input and type it again carefully. A rejected entry alone is not evidence that your save is broken or that you must restart the chapter.
