How to redeem a Xbox / Microsoft code safely

A Xbox / Microsoft code can add a game, subscription or wallet credit. The result depends on the code type, account country and device. Check all three on the order before typing anything because a redeemed code is normally attached permanently to the receiving account.

Prepare the correct account and device
